Paintings from Life and other works in Oil.
1116 Oak Ave, Linwood New Jersey

Following ten years of almost exclusively painting the still life, I returned to landscape September 2007. For one year I painted  small 5x7 plein airs almost daily. I used this practice to refine my work and build a base of experience to bring to the studio when I began painting larger pieces...the first was March Storm Clearing. I now practice studio and plein air work..capturing the moment from life has become my passion in creating art.

Plein Air
I went outside for the first time in late September of 2007. The thrill of capturing the fleeting essence of light is heady and wonderful.

Studio Landscape
Started last year, I have much to explore with my love of landscape and more recently architecural subjects.

Postcard Paintings
A sampling of some of the small (5"x7") Daily Paintings I began in the fall of 2007. You can see all of these on my blog where I post them as they are painted.
